Spotlight: Paul and Michelle McDonald (and Odie)

FoxTales Wildlife Rehab is so grateful for our wonderful supporters. We hope you enjoy reading the McDonald’s story about how and why they support the FoxTales mission.

How did you first find out about FoxTales Wildlife Rehab?

We had a wild rabbit injured on our yard. We called our vet and they referred us to a rehab that was too far away...that person referred us to FoxTales.  

You have been such a generous FoxTales supporter!! Why do you support the mission of FoxTales Wildlife Rehab? 

We realize the expense of doing what you do. And, when specialized organizations like this disappear, there will be no recourse for these unfortunate creatures when they need those specialized services. 

Why do you think it is important to coexist with wildlife? 

In Genesis 1:28, God told Adam and Eve that they were responsible for the creatures of the Earth. Then He told Noah to stow pairs of animals in order to preserve them. And, they are dang cute.

Is there one thing about wildlife that you wish the public would understand?

Animals are a gift, and we should respect their space and their purpose on this Earth.
