Spotlight: FoxTales Supporter “K”
March 2025
FoxTales Wildlife Rehab is so grateful for our wonderful supporters. We hope you enjoy reading K’s story about how and why she supports the Foxtales mission.
How did you first find out about FoxTales Wildlife Rehab?
I first met Beth at work, even before she started FoxTales. Over the years, I've had the privilege of witnessing her journey into becoming an incredible rehabber. Her dedication, love, and selflessness in always putting the animals' needs before her own inspire me every day.
Why do you think it is important to coexist with wildlife?
Wildlife play a critical role in maintaining balance in nature. Birds help control ticks, snakes keep rodent populations in check — it’s the perfect example of the circle of life. Each species contributes to the overall health of our ecosystems, and coexistence ensures that balance is preserved for generations to come.
You have been such a generous FoxTales supporter! Why do you support the mission of FoxTales Wildlife Rehab?
Wildlife rehabilitation has been a part of my life since childhood — my second mom is a wildlife rehabber, and she taught me to love and care for animals in need. I understand firsthand the immense effort, dedication, and expense that goes into saving these animals. Watching Beth’s unwavering commitment to FoxTales has strengthened my belief in her mission. I know every resource they have is poured into caring for the animals, always putting their (the animals’) well-being above all else.
Is there one thing about wildlife that you wish the public would understand?
I wish more people realized that wildlife deserves the same care and respect as our pets at home. We share a responsibility to keep them safe and help them when they’re in need. Animals in the wild have families, emotions, and the capacity for love and pain, just like us. By fostering a mutual understanding, we can recognize how wildlife enriches our lives and how they can even show appreciation and connection when we help them.
